Shimla, July 9 -- Restoring the honour of promotion to two Forest Range officers, The Himachal Pradesh High Court has ordered the state government to grant retrospective promotions to two retired Range Forest Officers (RFOs), Pawan Sharma and Prem Chand, appointing them to the position of Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) from 2003.
The court also directed the state government to extend post-retirement benefits to the two petitioners, more than ten years after their retirement.
