New Delhi, March 10 -- Star shuttler Lakshya Sen said maintaining a clear head and focusing on one match at a time helped him navigate a challenging draw during his impressive run at the All England Open badminton championships.

The 24-year-old returned with a silver medal after finishing runner-up in the men's singles final, where he went down 21-15, 22-20 to Chinese Taipei's Lin Chun-Yi in the title clash. With the result, Lakshya became only the second Indian to reach the All England final twice.

Lakshya's mentor, former champion Prakash Padukone, had reached the final in 1980 and 1981, winning the title in his first appearance in the summit clash.
