New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- The Junior Boys (U-17) category of the 64th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament kicked off today with high energy and exciting contests, as young footballers displayed skill, teamwork, and fighting spirit across multiple venues in Delhi.
The first day set the tone for an action-packed tournament, showing the spark and competitiveness that makes Subroto Cup a breeding ground for future stars.
Government Senior Secondary School, Lakshadweep, began the day in style with an emphatic 8-0 win over Rashtriya Military School (RMS). Shameel (12', 63'), Raez (38', 58'), Navas (45'), Javed (27', 63') and an own goal by Rajendra from RMS (41') sealed the one-sided contest.
