Kaza HP, March 3 -- The Lahaul-Spiti police have issued an advisory following complaints of rash and irresponsible driving by winter expedition groups in Spiti valley directing the groups to mind driving in the difficult and frigle terrain of the district.
According to an official communication issued by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Spiti at Kaza, several complaints were received from local residents regarding the conduct of 4x4 expedition vehicles during the winter season.
The memorandum, forwarded to the Station House Officer (SHO), Spiti at Kaza, highlights that expedition groups have been allegedly indulging in reckless driving, causing inconvenience to residents and posing risks to public safety.
