Patna, Feb. 14 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inspected the Gangaji Rajgrih reservoir located near Motnaje village in Nardiganj block of Nawada district and directed officials to keep the facility well-maintained, clean and environmentally sustainable.
The Chief Minister toured the reservoir campus and reviewed the arrangements.
Kumar said that under the Gangaji water supply scheme, people in Gaya, Bodh Gaya, Nawada and Rajgir are being provided with Ganga water as purified drinking water.
He instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted supply of clean water and to maintain the reservoir complex in an orderly, hygienic and eco-friendly manner.
