Rajanna Sircilla, Feb. 5 -- BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, accusing it of unfulfilled promises and deceptive politics.
Participating in the municipal election campaign in Sircilla, KTR questioned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's statement that Rythu Bandhu assistance would be disbursed after the municipal elections.
He asked how many crop seasons had passed without payments and how the elections were preventing the government from crediting money to farmers' accounts. He alleged that such statements were intended to create false hope among the people until the polls were over.
