Hyderabad, Sept. 12 -- BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) today launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of maintaining a "conspiratorial silence" on the large-scale defections of BRS legislators into the Congress party in Telangana.

In a statement here, KTR said while Rahul Gandhi often raises the issue of "Vote Chori" in national politics, he has failed to condemn what he described as "brazen MLA chori" in Telangana.

"Rahul Gandhi should be ashamed of this undemocratic and unconstitutional practice. This is a crime worse than the so-called vote chori he keeps talking about," KTR alleged.
