Hyderabad, May 9 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Friday congratulated Skyroot Aerospace on becoming India's first space-tech unicorn, describing the achievement as a major milestone for Telangana's startup and innovation ecosystem.
Following the company reaching a valuation of USD 1 billion, KTR said the achievement reflects the success of Telangana's industrial and innovation policies and showcases the global potential of Hyderabad's deep-tech ecosystem, a statement said.
Calling it a proud moment for the state, he said Skyroot's journey from a startup idea to a globally recognised aerospace company was made possible through the world-class ecosystem developed in Hyderabad over the last decade.
