Hyderabad, March 24 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Tuesday accused the Congress-led Telangana government of indulging in "diversionary politics" and misleading the public, while strongly defending the Formula-E initiative.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly premises, KTR alleged that reviving the Formula-E case was aimed at diverting attention from the BRS demand to grant legal status to the "Six Guarantees" through a Private Member Bill.
Dismissing the case as "baseless," he said the Rs 45 crore involved remains secure in the designated account and no funds were diverted. He accused the government of exaggerating figures to mislead the public and questioned the absence of any named beneficiaries in the charge sheet.
