Moscow, Jan. 23 -- Russia has so far not disclosed the exact amount of its assets which remain frozen in the US, though that total amount is slightly less than $5billion, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.

"I won't name the precise figure, but it is a little less than $5 billion," Peskov told media during a briefing.

He said Moscow has proposed allocating $1 billion from the US-frozen assets to fund humanitarian assistance through the recently announced Board of Peace, with a focus on relief for Palestinians.
