Peshawar, Dec. 7 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) provincial cabinet has agreed to withdraw the "politically motivated cases" of May 9, and 10, 2023, arguing that the FIRs registered lack any credible evidence, and has instead decided to refer the inquiry into the Radio Pakistan Peshawar incident to a Special Committee of the Provincial Assembly.
The decisions were taken on Friday during the 41st Provincial Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Md Sohail Afridi, who addressed the Cabinet members online. The meeting, apart from the CM, included the Chief Secretary, senior bureaucrats and the Advocate General.
