Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy, in an informal interaction with the media at the Secretariat on Thursday, shared a slew of updates on infrastructure and political developments in the state.
He announced that tenders for the long-pending Hum Road works will be floated next week, and the first phase of road repairs across the state will be taken up at a cost of Rs 6,000 crore, to be completed in three years. A meeting with contractors regarding the Hum Road project is scheduled for August 12.
Speaking about his recent meeting with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Komatireddy said discussions focused on national and state highway works, including pending permissions.
