Kolkata, Jan. 8 -- The Kolkata Police and the family of I-PAC founder Pratik Jain on Thursday lodged complaints against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over the search operation at his Loudon Street residence in central Kolkata.

The development came closely after the ED approached the Calcutta High Court, alleging that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was instrumental in seizing digital evidence and documents forcibly from the custody of the central agency. The matter is likely to be heard on Friday.

According to Kolkata Police sources, two separate complaints have been registered against the central agency in connection with Thursday morning's raid.

One complaint was filed by Pratik Jain's family, while the other was a suo motu complaint...
