Bhubaneswar, Feb. 4 -- Ten students from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Odisha, will represent India at an international cultural festival in Romania by performing plays by William Shakespeare in the tribal languages of Odisha.
The students, drawn from diverse academic backgrounds including PhD, undergraduate, postgraduate, and BBA programmes, will participate in the World Shakespeare Festival scheduled to be held in May at the University of Craiova, Romania.
On this global platform, the KISS students will present three Shakespearean plays translated and performed in their native tribal languages.
The team has already begun rehearsals and will stay in Romania for nearly two months to prepare and perform at the festival....
