Medak, Feb. 5 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the BRS and Congress parties, accusing them of neglecting Ramayampet in Medak district and failing to deliver on their promises, while addressing a public meeting as part of the BJP's municipal election campaign.

Recalling his long association with the town, Kishan Reddy said he had an inseparable bond with Ramayampet and had campaigned in every street during the 1985 Assembly elections.

He alleged that despite leaders like K Chandrashekar Rao winning from the region and even serving as Chief Minister, no serious effort was made to develop Ramayampet, leaving it backward compared to areas like Siddipet, Toopran and Medak.
