Los Angeles, Feb. 6 -- Kiernan Shipka and Cole Sprouse have come together to headline "Goodbye Girl", a new romantic comedy that has begun filming in New Orleans.
The film is directed by Oran Zegman, marking his follow-up to the well-received coming-of-age comedy "Honor Society". The film follows Jess (Shipka), who's a professional heartbreaker. Literally. When she's hired by a cowardly bride to dump her groom (Sprouse) days before their wedding, she not only fumbles the job. but falls hopelessly in love.
The script was written by Danielle Hoover and David Monahan, based on a story by Hoover, Monahan and Jessica Elbaum. Mike Karz and William Bindley of Gulfstream provided some financing and are producing, alongside Dawn Bierschwal and Rya...
