Bhubaneswar, July 17 -- The trauma care centre (TCC) of government-run Dharani Dhar Medical College and Hospital (DDMCH) in Keonjhar gave a new lease of life to a 10-year-old child, Kshirod Jamuda after performing a complicated orthopedic surgical procedure successfully on Thursday.
Kshirod, met with a road accident on July 14 evening near his village; and after first-aid treatment at Harichandrapur Community Health Centre, he was referred to TCC of DDMCH.
On examination at DDMCH, he was found to have low hemoglobin status for which he was given necessary treatment. After stabilisation, doctors decided for trauma surgery.
