Jammu, Feb. 17 -- The much-awaited fifth edition of the Khelo India Winter Games scheduled to begin on February 22 at renowned ski resort Gulmarg has been postponed due to insufficient snowfall, informed Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
"The Fifth edition of the Khelo India Winter Games, initially set for February 22-25, 2025, has been postponed due to insufficient snowfall," Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council posted on X.
"A new assessment will be conducted once snow conditions improve, and the revised update will be announced accordingly," it further posted.
Rauf Tramboo, President of, Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir when contacted told UNI, "The snow was not sufficient to smoothly go with the event."
