Kolkata, Dec. 10 -- Bhola Ghosh, a key witness in the CBI case against jailed TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan, was on Wednesday critically injured in a car accident in which his son and driver were killed after a truck rammed their vehicle in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas, official sources said.
The accident happened early this morning when Ghosh's car was hit by a truck near a petrol pump at Boyermari in Sandeshkhali area. Ghosh sustained serious injuries while his son and the driver were killed in the head-on-collision, official sources added. Ghosh' car turned turtle with the impact of the accident. The local people evacuated them and rushed them to Minakhan Grameen hospital where the driver and Ghosh's son were pronounced dead.
