Thiruvananthapuram, March 18 -- The District Administration in Malappuram has imposed a ban on the possession and carrying of weapons in view of the ongoing Model Code of Conduct for the Kerala Legislative Assembly elections.
District Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Vinay Goyal issued the order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to maintain law and order and ensure that the electoral process remains free, fair, and peaceful.
