Alappuzha (Kerala), Jan. 28 -- Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan on Wednesday strongly defended Nair Service Society (NSS) General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair, describing him as "innocent and honourable," and asserted that Hindu unity is inevitable, if not today then in the near future.
Addressing an SN Trust public meeting at Cherthala, Vellappally said that no one should malign either the Nair community or its leadership, stressing that Nairs and Ezhavas share a brotherly relationship.
He expressed gratitude for the broad-mindedness shown by Sukumaran Nair, stating that it gave him "double strength" to continue efforts towards unity.
