Titled "There is Something that Makes a Malayali a Malayali" (Malayaliye Malayaliakkunna Chilathund), the film captures the essence of Malayali identity, family bonds, and the festive spirit.

The story revolves around a young woman working abroad who surprises her family by arriving home on Thiruvonam day. This sets the backdrop for visuals of traditional celebrations - floral carpets, Thrikkakarappan, Onasadya, and Onakalikal.
