Thiruvananthapuram, March 11 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has written to Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri highlighting the severe impact of the ongoing LPG shortage on the State's residents and businesses.

In his letter, Vijayan pointed out that the consequences of the war have disrupted petroleum supplies, causing serious difficulties in meeting the demand for LPG cylinders.

He emphasized that Kerala, with a large working population travelling across districts and a significant number of migrant workers, heavily depends on small and medium hotels and restaurants for daily meals.
