Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 25 -- The presentation of the Kerala State Film Awards 2024 will be held on Sunday at 6.30 pm at the Nishagandhi Auditorium here, with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan presenting the awards.

The function will be presided over by Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian. The J.C. Daniel Award, the highest film honour instituted by the Kerala government, will be conferred on veteran actress Sharada, who will receive the award from the Chief Minister during the ceremony.

As many as 51 film personalities will be honoured this year. The award recipients include Mammootty, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Soubin Shahir, Vedan, Shamla Hamza, Lijomol Jose, Jyothirmayi, Siddharth Bharathan, Chidambaram, Fazil Muhammed, Sushin Shyam, ...
