Thiruvananthapuram, May 11 -- The Congress high command has intensified consultations over the selection of Kerala's next Chief Minister, with senior leader Rahul Gandhi summoning former KPCC presidents and key organisational leaders to Delhi amid continuing uncertainty and growing factional activity within the party.
Even as discussions continue at the national level, there are strong indications that the Congress leadership may not announce its Chief Ministerial choice today.
Party sources said the high command wants to complete one more round of consultations with senior Kerala leaders and alliance partners before arriving at a final decision.
