Thiruvananthapuram, June 16 -- The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights will launch 'Internet Radio' exclusively for children to reach 25 lakh families in the state, aiming to promote child rights literacy and their well-being.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will launch the internet radio "Radio Nellikka" on June 18, aiming to spread awareness among students, teachers, and parents about juvenile justice, the POCSO Act, and the Right to Free and Compulsory Education.
In light of the increasing mental stress among children and growing concerns like substance abuse, cyber traps, suicide, and social media addiction, the Commission is implementing this programme.
