Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 26 -- The 30th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, will be held in Thiruvananthapuram from December 12 to 19, with more than 200 international guests, including filmmakers, technicians, and jury members, expected to attend.

The IFFK is one of Asia's most respected people's film festivals.

The Academy unveiled a diverse line-up across several major sections, confirming that the festival will remain in the capital and putting an end to speculation about venue change.

In the Malayalam Cinema Today category, twelve new Malayalam films awaiting theatrical release have been selected, showcasing the creative depth of contemporary Kerala cinema.
