Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 29 -- The Kerala Cabinet has approved a special scheme to remove hurdles in extending social security benefits to eligible women, including nuns, residing in institutions managed by religious bodies.
Women living in temples, monasteries, convents, ashrams, and other religious institutions will be brought under the State's social security pension schemes by relaxing existing conditions.
