Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 3 -- Proceedings of the Kerala Legislative Assembly were repeatedly disrupted on Tuesday following a strong protest by the Opposition over the alleged lapses in the investigation into the Sabarimala gold theft case, forcing the Chair to adjourn the House.
The disruption began during Question Hour when members of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) entered the Well of the House, raising slogans and holding placards.
The opposition accused the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government of interfering in the probe being conducted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and demanded a detailed discussion on the issue.
