Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 4 -- The Kerala Legislative Assembly on Wednesday unanimously adopted a resolution expressing grave concern and strong protest against what it termed the "Union government's persistent neglect and discriminatory attitude" towards the State on several crucial matters.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan moved the resolution under Rule 118, calling upon the Centre to urgently revise its policies and uphold the constitutional principles of federalism. Moving the resolution, the Chief Minister said India can command respect in the international arena only when all its states are safe, developed and prosperous.
