Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 24 -- The 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly concluded its tenure nearly a month ahead of schedule on Tuesday, in what has been described as a historic political moment for the state.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan delivered his reply speech in the final sitting, becoming the first Kerala CM to lead two consecutive governments and address the House in its concluding session twice during a continuous tenure.

The Assembly also formally adopted the full cabinet-approved policy address, including sections previously omitted by Governor Rajendra Arlekar, amid a fresh confrontation between the Lok Bhavan and the state government.
