Thrissur, Aug. 30 -- The newsroom of a Malayalam news channel was attacked and doused with black oil purportedly by Congress workers here today.
The incident unfolded when youth activists marched towards the office of Reporter Channel and poured black oil on the front door, and planted a flag of an organisation on a car parked in front of the office.
Following the incident, the office staff locked the door, fearing an attack and informed the police.
The police identified five youth congress workers led by the state youth Congress secretaryMithun Mohan, who was later arrested in Thiruvananthapuram, while alighting from a train.
