Thiruvananthapuram, June 11 -- In view of the death of several Malayalees in a road accident in Kenya, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday urged External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to extend necessary support for the swift and dignified repatriation of the mortal remains of the deceased to India.

In a letter to the Union Minister, the Chief Minister sought his attention to the tragic road accident that happened in Kenya, involving a group of Indian nationals, including several Malayalis, resulting in injuries and loss of lives.

The persons affected were part of a tourist group travelling from Qatar.
