Hyderabad, Feb. 5 -- Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Thursday strongly criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him of violating constitutional values and targeting a particular community due to his inability to confront them politically.

Addressing the media, Kavitha said the Chief Minister's remarks crossed all norms of decency and were directed at the Velama community.

She reminded that Revanth Reddy, while taking oath as Chief Minister, had sworn on the Constitution to respect all sections of society without discrimination, but had now forgotten that responsibility.

"Unable to face them politically, he is spewing venom against a community. This attitude must change," she asserted.
