Hyderabad, Feb. 6 -- Telangana Jagruthi President Kalavakuntal Kavitha on Friday strongly criticised the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for allotting a municipal election ticket to Buttangari Madhav Reddy, who had earlier filed a petition opposing the 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs).

Talking to the media, Kavitha said BC organisations, including Jagruthi, had fought for days and pressured the government to get the 42 per cent reservation Bill passed, but Madhav Reddy had moved the court against it.
