Hyderabad, March 11 -- Ms Kalvakuntla Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruti, continued her indefinite hunger strike for the third consecutive day on Wednesday in support of the Velugumatla victims.
Kavitha is currently observing the fast at the Telangana Jagruti office in Hyderabad. On Wednesday morning, she was seen reading various newspapers at the protest site.
The agitation began after Kavitha, along with Visharadhan Maharaj and other leaders, organised a large protest at the Khammam Zilla Parishad (ZP) Centre on Monday along with the victims from Velugumatla.
Later the same day, Kavitha and several others were taken into custody by the police. Authorities issued notices under Section 41 of the CrPC and subsequently released them....
