Srinagar, March 10 -- Intermittent rains lashed several parts of the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday, with the Meteorological Department (MeT) predicting more rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar said most stations in Kashmir recorded rainfall during the past 24 hours, with the famous ski resort of Gulmarg receiving the highest precipitation of 12.8 mm. The south Kashmir tourist destination of Pahalgam recorded 11.6 mm rainfall, while Srinagar, the summer capital of J and K, received 3.0 mm.
