Chennai, March 14 -- Actor-turned-neta and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder President Vijay on Saturday left for New Delhi to appear before the CBI for questioning in the Karur stampede case that claimed 41 lives during his public outreach rally in September 2025 last year.
Vijay, accompanied by his party functionaries, including CT Nirmal Kumar, left for the National cpital by a special flight from Chennai airport.
Vijay would appear before the investigating agency for the third round of questioning in the case being probed by by the CBI on the orders of the Supreme Court.
The CBI had also summoned DMK Karur strongman and former Minister V Senthilbalaji to appear before it for questioning in the case on March 17.
