Chennai, Sept. 28 -- Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin today said the bodiesof 30 of the 39 people, who died in the devastating stampede during TVK Founder and actor Vijay'sPolitical rally at Karur last night were handed over to their family members after post mortem.
Talking to reporters after paying homage to the bodies at the Karur Government Medical CollegeHospital and calling on the injured undergoing treatment there, he said post mortem was doneon 30 bodies so far and they were handed over to their family members.
Separate ambulances were arranged to transport their bodies to their native places, he said.
