Chennai, Oct. 5 -- After the police denied permission for the ongoing state-wide yatra helmed by AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) in Namakkal today citing the Karur tragedy, the party has rescheduled his plans.
A party release late last night said the fifth Phase of EPS Yatra is now set for October 8.
Announcing the revised schedule for the fifth phase of Palaniswami's statewide outreach campaign 'Makkalai Kappom, Thamizhagathai Meetpom (Protect people, Retrieve Tamil Nadu) yatra, the AIADMK said "The 5th phase of the yatra, originally slated for October 5-6 in Namakkal district, has been rescheduled for October 8 and 9.
