Bengaluru, Feb. 21 -- RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna was arrested by the Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) over allegations of circulating a fake audio clip and manipulated online content aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Karnataka Administrative Service officer DB Natesh, former Commissioner of the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), police said on Saturday.

The arrest followed a complaint filed by Natesh, leading to a case being registered on February 18.

CCB sleuths conducted a search at Krishna's residence in Gundu Rao Nagar, Mysuru, seizing documents and electronic devices suspected to be linked to the alleged online posts.
