Bengaluru, Feb. 3 -- Even as the Centre projected the India-US trade agreement as a landmark breakthrough, senior Karnataka ministers on Tuesday voiced sharp skepticism, questioning both the substance of the agreement and the celebration surrounding it.
While the deal reduces US tariffs on Indian goods to 18% from 50 percent, ministers warned that key details remain opaque, particularly on potential concessions India may have made in sensitive sectors such as energy.
