Bengaluru, March 12 -- Karnataka Minister Eshwar Khandre has sharply criticised the central government's handling of the ongoing LPG shortage, describing it as "gross mismanagement, very bad planning, and a big failure."Speaking to reporters, Khandre said that the global energy crisis triggered by tensions in West Asia was predictable, and that the union Government should have prepared by stockpiling LPG and exploring alternative sources.

Khandre accused the central government of ignoring foreseeable disruptions, adding that households and businesses are now facing unnecessary hardships due to this lack of foresight.
