Bengaluru, Feb. 4 -- The Karnataka Legislature on Wednesday passed a resolution opposing Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) Act, 2025. The resolution will be sent to the President and the Government of India.
The passage came amid a walkout by BJP and JD(S) members in both the Assembly and the Council.
The opposition had launched an overnight dharna on Tuesday demanding the resignation of the Excise Minister RB Thimmapur over corruption allegations and continued protesting during the session. Despite non-stop sloganeering, the resolution was adopted through a voice vote.
