Dharwad (Karnataka), April 24 -- With the clock ticking on a court-mandated deadline, the Karnataka State Election Commission has stepped up efforts to conduct long-pending civic polls in Bengaluru, setting the stage for a high-stake administrative race against time.
Chief Election Commissioner GS Sangreshi on Friday said elections to the five municipal corporations in Bengaluru must be completed by June 30, in line with directions issued by the Supreme Court of India.
