Bengaluru, March 11 -- The Karnataka government on Wednesday assured that every household in the state will receive at least one LPG cylinder within the next 20 days amid concerns over supply disruptions linked to the ongoing tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
Making this assurance in the Assembly during Zero Hour, Food and Civil Supplies Minister K. H. Muniyappa said the government has barred households from booking multiple LPG cylinders until the supply situation stabilises.
The assurance comes amid panic among consumers following reports of shortages triggered by the geopolitical conflict, which has affected global fuel shipments.
