Jammu, Sept. 25 -- Veteran parliamentarian Dr Karan Singh today expressed concern over the recent unrest in Ladakh, which resulted in the death of four people and injuries to many others.

In a statement issued here, Dr. Singh said, "I have been deeply disturbed by the recent unrest in Ladakh resulting in the death of four people."He noted that since 1947, the people of Ladakh have consistently remained pro-India and have supported the security forces whenever required. However, he expressed concern that the region's youth are growing increasingly resentful due to dwindling employment opportunities.
