Mumbai, Feb. 22 -- Comedian-actor Kail Sharma, along with the announcement of Season 5 for 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', also unveiled his future plans to headline a yet-to-be-titled web series.
This move will further deepen the relationship between him and the streaming giant Netflix, confirms Variety India.
Details of the project are currently being kept hush-hush, but sources say it's a comedy series and will go on floors next month outside India. Further strengthening the collaboration, Netflix has also acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to Sharma's upcoming family-comedy feature film, "Daadi Ki Shaadi."
