Dharamshala, April 10 -- At least three pilgrims were killed and more than 30 injured, all belonging to Punjab, when a tractor-trolley carrying devotees plunged nearly 100 feet into a gorge at Dhaliyara in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday.
The mishap occurred near the Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan on National Highway-503, when the vehicle, reportedly carrying over 30 pilgrims from Kapurthala in Punjab, went out of control at a sharp turn and fell off the road.
The cause of the accident was being investigated.
The pilgrims were on their way from Chintpurni Temple to Jwalamukhi Temple when the incident took place.
