Kabul, June 19 -- The Afghan Taliban's General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) has held a high-level internal session on the possible escape into Afghanistan of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Al-Qaeda members amid the conflict with Israel, reports Iran International.

During the session, several key points and strategic concerns were highlighted by Kabul about the ongoing war between Israel and Iran.

This includes the possibility of senior IRGC members taking asylum in the country and seeking protection from Afghanistan.
